Water Water EveryWhere , and The Boards did Shrink ,
Water Water Everywhere ,and Not a Drop to Drink.
This is how i can best explain the Falls , far from shore and moving to the other part in the most primitive boats those existed. The Round circular wooden boat coated with charcoal on the other side, was means of transport for two sides of falls we saw. The First Pic is of water which the person rowing the boat claimed to be 30-50 feet , which we doubt was deeper.

Below is the first phase of trip , when we just sat down and had a cool time. We were adjusted to most primitive boat in some calculations to balance the boat and we were off in the boat. Dwindling and shifting , and wach time Fateh would shift , wud leave the navigator tense , and finally Fateh put his head back in comforting posture.


This is commercialisation , shops on the boat. from Fanta to Chips to biscuits u just name it , and they have it. And in middle of river , thinking of sea pirates , and there is no way u can escape, for land in sight was too far. And then this person came and tried to do his business, but sorry we had snacks with us ...

Can you See the Shop Boat , but can u C anyone navigating it ... seems Jack Sparrow from POC is driving it ...

And finally another shopper's Stop , though i dont prefer to use that name , cauz it has deep memories in bangalore , not mine .. no no ..

This time We Decided to go to the falls taking our time. So here were five of us going to party , and believe me , its a really awsome place to be. It all started with pledge previous night to get up early for trip , but its Sunday guys , and who cares... and it was already 730 when somebody woke up. chalo guys lets get ready for hogenakkal ... and there was a call from Fateh , we will be there in 10-15 minutes. At 830 ok , lets do it . By the time breakfast was ready, phone rang. Fateh forgot the path to the place. Chalo , then had to go and take him. He was angriest of lot , seeing me still in casuals... hehehee ... trick to send cab first to his place worked.
The Masti Starts -
Now in less than 20 min we are all ready , packed bags to the most dangerous waterfalls in asia, claiming more lives than any other fall in india. The Sumo started with Buzzzzz...... and off we were to a thrilling end to a roller coaster week , which saw some people moving out of life from behind the doors , some friends who never were .... and some people who will always be there.
Songs Played loudly , and Sumo rolled the roads like the bus in the song "We are going to Ibiza by venga boys" ... loud cheers , close calls , and bangalore traffic.
Kasam se The Driver was constantly honking , and even though we asked him a lot of times not to honk . I will this time start with photographs and tell some masti incidents ...

Bike Lift

Today was something different in air. A freshness , something seemed in air ... and there was me .. on roads of Bangalore. The Climate as always cool , and music banging loudly in my ears , and Boomanhalli junction fully freee .. not a single jam ... and there i saw on junction , an infoscion standing alone. And i dont know what happened , offered her a lift. Obviously she didnt look into my face, and my I-Card was more than sufficient for her to sit on bike. And after that incident that happened last Friday, today i drove with utmost care, though zig-zag is now a way of life. The bike reached 100 and the girl pressed my shoulders, as i slowed down. Then we ended up in Infosys, she said thanks , and i welcome. She never saw my face , and i have a bleak memory of the same. But in many ways , it was lady luck in the morning , which will guide the rest of the day :)

Hey Babby - hell of a movie

Last night i went to see Hey babby with my room mate, and Akshay Kumar , Booman irani and such a star cast, i thought this will be a good one. The movie started like jet rocket . Too Funny , too good... the baby came , they loved it , they hated it .. but then all of a sudden , it lost interest. Became too predictable. Jokes old ones, Comic timings missing. I would have thought of akshay with sunil shetty and rajpal yadav as ideal starcast. The movie is worth seeing on a rented VCD or borrowed from a friend ( if someone is really so fool to buy ), but then there were some real good hilarious scene.
Like one in which Fardeen is driving at tortoise pace, and one in starting when Angel comes ... thats it . All good scenes of movie were shown in promo / trailers and there is not an additional extra scene to be watched on the hall
Please dont ask me to write about vidya balan , the most pathetic overacting in the movie is done by her. Her looks resembles that of Rani Mukherjee, but changing clothes wont get u an attitude and acting like Rani .. I saw her , and saw Rani in her , and what an insult. Vidya who has acted so so well in so many movies, was like fardeen acting in "Prem Agan".
Booman and Akshay were totally wasted in the movie, real talent lost.
I will gladfully rate the movie as 2.5/5 , and Sajid should be happy. i considered 2/5 , but 0.25 for akshay and 0.25 for SRK extra ...
makes it 2.5/5

makedattu trip ..revisited in photo mode

Infosys Bangalore

Every day i step out of my house to Infosys, i am greeted with loads of traffic and death defying Hosur Road, where the traffic eats the hell out of you. But then as i enter my Infosys Campus, i feel like being in warmth care of life. There is a sense of freedom, of responsibility, and above all , of security. The friends here dont change like climate, which is better than the best most of the times. The climate in bangalore is better off than in mysore and much better than in delhi. The cloud cover for 23 hours a day, a mild drizzle daily , and heavy downpour every other day may make the driving a living hell, but the climate wins over you. You are pleased in more than one easy ways to let you believe, this is best place to be in. Till now i have advocated Mysore as the best place to be, but here in bangalore .. the climate is just awsome. Here is a place which can be day and night at same time. The people having mentality of like "I love walking in rain as none sees me crying", for them also , this is the best place. Below is a set of two identiacal pics, one with Fateh ( bindass banda) and one without. Both these pics were taken within difference of seconds, and the visibilty in the latter dropped down. The picture at top is one of my favourites , the sun and clouds playing with ease and like small kids ... i win u win ...

Shelton Grand Hotel, Church Street Bangalore

on August 26,2007 , i happen to have an dinner with Mr. Pankaj Jindal ( VP, Aditi Staffing) , and some of his friends. The venue for the party was The Bar Code, one of the four resturants offered by the Shelton Grand. Once i reached the place, the ambience was typical mystic. Low Lights, nicely placed tables ,well groomed waiters and real bet for a five star ( it is 4 star was known later to me ). It was at first floor where the host of the party sat. So i joined three other cool cool guys. Pankaj , Harneet , Mr Verma. And they really spoke the hearts out. It was yesterday, when i realised the people at the top of ladder are same as we are today , only they have some extra bucks. They also pull each other's leg , give idiotic fundas and the incidents they share were most intersting part. The places they have been to , the way they enjoyed and the idea of life these people project. The waiters would come now and then and ask for order. Verma sir would now and then call the waiter ,"idhar aa" (come here) , though it was more of us smiling over the stint. Overall , the service was very good, and definitely not too costly. The only thing that was pathetic was possibly the wash room, which was in a very bad state. Overall , there was a lot of masti and it was a great way to start the week ahead. i will rate this one as 3.5/5 .

Chak De !! The Movie

So much Hype about the movie ... and worth it . SRK doesnt look to lose charisma. He comes to screen , loses a win and still goes ahead with it. There were so many ifs and buts in the movie ...
but one thing that took me was -- "ek galti ka bojh kitna zyada hota hai , aur tum dono usse utha nahi paogi".
there are so many times this has happened , a small mistake and friendship teared apart like a revolting house under fierce of Katrina ( hurricane). One still hurts me is my friendship with Vaishnavi. She was one of the friends i thought i will be friends forever. she was very intelligent, very good looking and above all , she would tirelessly listen to me for so long and give a solution. But then a blunder and all changed. We are to a position where strangers are better treated. Well how it hurts to lose a friend is more painful than to lose a love. I was able to associate Chak De with so many instances , but one thing that was missing in the movie was frienship. The way players were a team is good , but shud have small incidences of being friends and team forever.

Second incidence when SRK is rubbing his silver medal .. " ghiss ghiss ke is chandi ke tambe ko sona ka banane ki koshish ker raha hoon , ki kal kahin agar bechna pad jaaye to daam to ache mile" ( am rubbing this silver medal to try to convert to gold , in case i am in such rags that i need to sell it , i should get a good price for it ) . So many times it happens to us that we are just there , just there and miss it. Then we repent it for ages. and a consolation price is just a constant spear to injuries , to remind not that u were second , but u lost , and u were second to someone . Someone was better than what u r and what u were , and to live with it ....
very difficult ....

but the movie was very very good.

The Beauty of Infosys

In case one wonders if infosys has most magnificient and sculptous , state of art designed well placed buildings , and nothing more than Eco Friendly , Zero Tolerance plastic free zone. Here is a video of the fountain area , just outside my building. The video was shot by my Nokia N73 , at a lucky evening when lights were out and fountain flaying to the tunes of the climate.

prashanth Bday -1

The person tried to escape from all he cud , and he did not even opened up the doors of the room for a long time , and then we decided to call it to end , and tell house-keeping staff , that our friend is stressed out and has sucidal tendencies and we wanna chk if he is alright. Day 2 - Kodaikanal lake

Now when we had visited Devil's Kitchen , The Pillar Rock , The Pine forests , and 14 other places to complete the kodaikanal trip , the end of day was yet another surprise. Boating ... and in this cool cool place . The Sun had shone through out the day as if welcoming us with open arms ...Come to Paradise .. to heavens ... to Kodaikanal ... seems i am falling in love with this place over and over again ... The sun and clouds played through out the day, not to be victorious over one other , but like two kids playing selflessly, when winning is not the most important factor , but playing is.



And This was last lost way , when i was standing in middle .. is it over .. no it is not ... The Rose Garden and temple are still to be visited. But they will come later after this pleasurable boat ride.

I am trying to come to the end of day but so many things and so many scenic and natural beauties that my mind keeps on deviating. One more thing i wanna show is this path. Such a magestic royal feeeling i got while i was wondering how good would it be to be lost. to be friends with so many trees , so many of them , like guarding an empire , and dare not enter any enemy , but for friends ,so full of fun and joy.

So finally we are in Boat house , and here is our hunk back to business. smiling and giggling and getting photographed ( apart from being paddling the boat). The ambience was very good , and we were there for 30 min. though i would still rate it lower than Pookote lake in wayand "http://deepakg83.blogspot.com/2007/01/new-year-3-pookote-lake.html". In case u wanna see the beauty of that lake. The real beauty because it had weeds , lillies and natural. This one was too clean.

And This is lake is no doubt the man made lake , and a very well maintained, though one might not prefer to move in normal boats but in Swan Boats , which costs extra 10 bucks, and seem to be pretty attracive. The boat made a lot of sound , seemed like moving spades in dry land. Except for the hell of noise the boat made , and the wear tear sound , and the extra effort we had to put in after titing day , those 30 min were very fine , though i cud have done without that also. But the breeze was too good.
Whaatever it was , added to the kodaikanal hospitality and we all loved it and cherish it :)

Yo China !!!!

This Sunday just sitting after a few hiccups , one of my friends Fateh called over for dinner. The venue decided was Yo India [ I mean Yo china , and this is because Sameer said it to be Yo India and Fateh Called back asking where Yo India was , though it was Yo China (thanks to Natasha for pointing this out )], and it was to be my 3rd Chinese Resturant i will be to. Located in Kormangala 8th block , bangalore. The easy way to go there is take the road from Reliance Fresh, and this road leads to Yo china , on right hand side.
Now the party people , Fateh , Tarveen , Natasha , Sameer ... The time 930 PM. We were at the place on time ,but had to wait 5 min to get a seat. This place has a two storey serving space. Fateh decided to go up and have the food , but when we reached there , we were told that the service will be slow and we should take the ground floor only. So we sat there. The food was ordered , Dimsums , colas , combos and masti. The service was toooo slow , but the food was fantastic , tasty yummy and delicious. Dont know whether it was so good , but one thing is for sure , the friends are what make the food so tasty. In last Choc brownie ... yummy ...
frankly i have been to Shanghai ( Mysore) Rest. , and that seems to me still half a point better.
As for me , i will rate it to be 4/5 in my personal opinion.
